Diversity in Storytelling: Race, Religion, Sex, Politics: From political correctness to language correctness.
Noted writers and scholars will discuss the impact that social issues and political correctness have had on the short story art form. The issue of art for art’s sake or art for education or art for self-gratification or art for the present will be the focus of this much needed discussion.
Examples of storytelling that have been impacted by said issues will be presented and discussed.
