Russ Soh
More than a decade ago, Russ Soh swapped his corporate career for an unfashionably early retirement. Although he thrived and excelled as a senior corporate executive, Russ yearned for more time to spend with family and friends, and to indulge his passions for traveling, reading and writing. Having dabbled in non-fiction prose throughout his school days and business career, Russ felt he could no longer ignore the call of his muse to start putting into words some of the many stories long percolating inside him. The first instalment of the long overdue endeavor was Not The Same Family (Ethos Books, 2013) a collection of Singaporean short stories. His second Singaporean short story collection followed in 2015 – Tales From the ECP (Ethos Books, 2015). In 2020, he returned to his first love with the publication of a collection of personal essays – Living the Writing, One Man’s Journey (Word Image, 2020).
